Terms of use
Short version: use LAINE for your team's real work, keep your sign-in safe, and don't misuse it. Your content stays yours.
Who we are
LAINE (KaiMaLaine) is run by KaiMa Foundry, part of GeoffMedia, LLC ("we"). By using LAINE you agree to these terms. Questions go to support@kaimafoundry.com.
Your account
- You sign in with an emailed link or with Google. Keep access to that email account safe; anyone who can open it can sign in as you.
- Workspace owners decide who joins their workspace and what members can do.
Your content
What you and your team put into LAINE belongs to you. You give us permission to store, process and show it only as needed to run LAINE for you, including sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy page.
Acceptable use
- Don't use LAINE for anything illegal, to harass anyone, or to store content you don't have the right to share.
- Don't try to get into workspaces or data that aren't yours, overload the service, or get around its limits.
- Share a project's client page link only with people who should see that project.
AI features
AI-written text in LAINE (such as scope reads, briefs and project status) can be wrong. Check it before you rely on it or send it to a client.
Plans and changes
Prices and plan limits are shown in LAINE before you pay for anything. We may change or stop features; if a change takes away something you pay for, we'll tell you ahead of time.
Ending
You can stop using LAINE at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
No warranty
LAINE is provided as is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell signed-in users in the app.
